What is recycled polyester?
Recycled polyester is a man-made fabric made from synthetic fibers, but instead of using new raw materials like oil, it uses existing plastic waste like PET bottles.




How is it produced?
Recycled polyester is made by breaking down used plastic into small pieces and processing them into yarn. First, the labels are removed from PET bottles and they are broken into small pieces that look like plastic confetti. These plastic pieces are then turned into small pellets, melted down and spun into yarn.

What are the environmental benefits?
Recycled polyester eliminates the need for new raw materials, significantly reducing the environmental impact of production. It saves waste plastic from landfills, prevents used plastic from entering our oceans and harming marine life, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and uses much less water during production.

Textile recycling.
Recycled cotton can be generally defined as the conversion of cotton fabric into cotton yarn that can be reused in textile products. Recycled cotton is also commonly referred to as regenerated cotton, recovered cotton, or fabric waste.

Neden rejenere iplikleri tercih ettik?
Rejenere ya da diğer bir ifade ile geri kazanılmış elyaflardan iplik imalatı, kısaca, tekstil ve konfeksiyon artıklarının toplanıp parçalanarak tekrar elyaf haline getirilip elde edilen bu elyafların ise yeniden iplik haline getirilip ekonomiye geri kazandırılmasıdır.
Kumaş artıkları elyaf haline geldikten sonra iplik aşamasında son kullanım yerine göre içerisine boyalı ya da ham halinde polyester, pamuk, akrilik ya da viskon elyaflar karıştırılarak ve elyaf boyları çok kısa olduğu için proses esnasında daha rahat bir çalışma temin etmek için bir miktar kimyasal madde ilave edilerek, Open End eğirme tekniği ile iplik haline getirilir. İplik makineleri de rejenereye uygun olarak modifiye edilmiş olmadılır.
Rejenere iplikler, orjinal elyaflardan yapılan ipliklere alternatif olarak, döşemelik kumaş, halı, kilim, kadife, yuvarlak örgü, triko, çorap, temizlik ürünleri, battaniye vs. gibi maliyet azaltıcı maksatlarla kullanılmaktadır.
